What to Do If the Software Cannot Detect the Connected iOS Device?

If the plugged in iOS device cannot be detected by the software DMtrans, please first check and ensure your iOS device working properly. Also, please make sure iTunes can detect the iOS device.

If the iOS device is recognized by iTunes, please try the following methods and check if the software DMtrans can detect the device.

1. Please change a cable and port to reconnect the iOS device.
2. Restart the iOS device and the computer to have a try.
3. Install the software and connect the iOS device on another computer.
4. Unplug the other USB external devices to check if it works.
5. If you are using anti-virus software on the computer, please disable it temporarily.

Tip: How to disable antivirus software temporarily?

Choose Control Panel > System and Security > Review your computer's status > Security > Virus protection. If the software is on, check the Help that came with the software for information on disabling it.

If Windows doesn't detect your antivirus software, or your antivirus software don’t report its status to Windows.You can also try following methods:
1.Type the name of the software in the search box on the Start menu to find it.
2.Look for your antivirus program's icon in the notification area of the taskbar.
